What's in My Bag: Travel Edition

I don't go travelling often, but when I do, these are the makeup I bring with me.

BB cream, powder, blush, lipstick, eyebrow pencil, eyeliner and mascara;
Eyelid primer and lash curler not in photo

Just enough for my everyday makeup look! When I am only spending the night somewhere near and need not worry about luggage weight, I bring a few more items - a couple of my fave eyeshadows or an eyeshadow quad, etc.

Re the makeup, I switch between different brands. What I bring all depends on what I'm currently using or loving. Pictured here are the ones I brought on our recent HK trip.

I just want to share about a few of these products - the ones I've been really loving but haven't posted about on this blog yet.

First up is my favorite BB cream.

Colour Collection Whitening BB Cream
When I say favorite, I mean favorite. I can survive with just this as my base forever. The coverage and finish are both up to my liking, and the shade is a perfect match to my skin tone as well! I think this is my third tube already, if I'm not mistaken. One of my ultimate wishes is for this to be more widely available for purchase. Colour Collection is only available through Tupperware brand dealers, I believe. If this became available in malls, I'd definitely hoard.

Next is one of my favorite mascaras.

Heroine Make Volume & Curl Mascara
I didn't expect to like this as much as I am now. It gives my lashes both the volume and length they need, and it can stay on for hours without flaking or smudging! It's also really waterproof. Tried and tested! I was even able to babad in the pool without it smudging. That said, this mascara is tough to remove. I need to use a legit eye makeup remover to completely remove this. Wipes and water alone wouldn't do.

Next is one of my favorite MLBB lipsticks.

Pixy Satin Fit Satin Lipstick in Puppy Love

The shade is just so soft and neutral and perfect for everyday. Formula's on the moisturizing side, and this isn't a long-wearing lipstick at all, so I always bring this with me in my makeup kit.

Now for brushes...

These five got me covered from base to lids to brows. Buffing brush for my BB cream, powder and blush brushes for my powder and blush (duh), blending brush for my go-to one-shade eye look, and spoolie for the brows.

Another version of my travel makeup kit, plus a few skin care items

That's it for my travel makeup kit. Next time, I'll show you what's in my regular makeup kit, and maybe my office makeup kit as well (haha why so many?).
