Unboxing: 'Secrets of SpyGal' March BDJ Box (Benefit-Exclusive)

Time to unbox another BDJ Box! Yey! My favorite time of the month. My March started right, thanks to this month's box. I'd been waiting for this since BDJ Box's first release, and now it's finally here!

What is it? The Benefit Cosmetics-exclusive BDJ Box, of course!

Summer's just around the corner, and BDJ put together a bunch of products that could help our makeup stay put all throughout the hot summer days to come.

Let me show you what's inside.

Benefit Agent Zero Shine Powder
Benefit Stay Flawless 15-Hour Primer
Benefit Under My Spell Noelle Fragrance
Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Brightening Makeup
Benefit Porefessional Pro Balm
Benefit Stay Don't Stray

All samples are deluxe-sized, making this box one of the 'lighter' BDJ Boxes along with the December Max Factor box.

Now let's take a look at each item.

Ahh, the Porefessional. I've tried this before, and I'm so happy it's included in this box because I love it! It may not minimize my pores enough for my liking, but I love how it makes my skin feel so smooth and silky after application! It makes my foundation glide on more smoothly.

This one is also a primer, but it focuses on the eye area - the lids and the undereyes. It claims to make eyeshadow and concealer stay and not stray throughout the day. Crossing my fingers that this will work even on my oily monolids!

Now this is something I'm excited to try. I haven't used a legit foundation since I discovered the Colour Collection BB Cream (yup, that's how much I love it), and I kinda miss the feeling. Haha. This one seems perfect for work as it claims to give a natural finish. And I could use it as a highlighter instead, in case the shade is too light.

This is yet another primer. It claims to help make foundation stay on for up to 15 hours! Perfect for long commute+work days?

(I usually just use one primer for the face and one for the lids. But apparently, there are different kinds of face primers, too! I didn't even know. )

This is the last makeup item in here. It's also something I am so excited to try. Anything that claims to be shine/oil-controlling catches my attention! Would I love this as much as I love my Essence Fix & Matte powder? Would I love this even more? We shall see.

BDJ also included a perfume. I tried this on earlier, and it smells nice! (LOL. You'd think that I, being a chemist, would be able to describe scents in a more detailed manner. But I can't. Sorry about that. Heehee. BDJ describes this as an exotic and woody floral scent, though.)

And those are the contents of the March BDJ Box. Over-all I am happy with this box because (1) almost all items inside are makeup and (2) it's Benefit-exclusive (need I say more?)! Only samples this time, though, but at least they're deluxe-sized, meaning they'd last long enough for me to decide whether I like them or not. And I go through products slowly. Heck, even my Porefessional sample from more than a year ago still isn't even half-empty! I don't use it everyday, though. Just on special events.
