Review: Human Nature 100% Natural Purifying Facial Scrub
I first tried using facial scrubs just about two years ago, and since then, facial scrubs have become a staple in my skin care routine. I use facial scrubs regularly to get rid of old flaky skin and bring out soft and smooth skin. Who doesn't want healthy-looking skin??? ;]
The first facial scrub I got to try was the St. Ives Apricot Scrub. I liked that one so much that I kept on repurchasing it. A few months ago, though, I decided to try scrubs from other brands just because. This facial scrub from Human Nature was what I chose to use next :)
It's the Human Nature 100% Natural Purifying Facial Scrub.
I saw this while I was doing my usual grocery rounds. The strawberries caught my attention! :)
Description (from Human Nature): Exfoliate your skin the natural way with our 100% Natural Purifying Facial Scrub! Made with real strawberry seeds and fine bamboo granules to soften your skin while gently removing dirt and toxins, our facial scrub allows you to show off your healthy, smooth and luminous complexion without compromising your skin!
Product description and ingredients |
I've read that Human Nature discloses every single ingredient on their product labels. So no secret ingredients.
The product is packaged in a easy-to-squeeze tube.
I have no complaints with the simple packaging, honestly. It's convenient to use in the shower. What more can I ask for?
The product has a creamy texture that's easy to apply and spread on the skin. It has a subtle sweet scent that I like.
The strawberry seeds and bamboo granules serve as the scrub beads that gently but effectively exfoliate the skin.
It's gentle, indeed, not harsh on my skin at all. Note that my skin is not too sensitive, though. This is more gentle that the St. Ives Apricot scrub - that, I can say for sure. Oh, it's gentle but it's still pretty effective. My skin feels soft, smooth and clean after I use it. It doesn't leave my face feeling tight, too. I use this three times a week at most to avoid over-exfoliation.
Thumbs up:
- Gentle yet effective
- Subtle sweet scent
- Great texture
- Leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft
- Doesn't irritate my skin
- Affordable - Priced at P104.75 for 50 ml of product
There's nothing much that I hate about this product. It does what I want it to do as a facial scrub. It does what it claims to do, and I think that's great :)
I got this at Rustan's Supermarket, but Human Nature products are also available at their branches *here,* at Beauty Bar and Landmark. They're also available online at humanheartnature.com, and there are lots of HHN dealers, too. Please let me know if you've seen this in other places I haven't mentioned.
