Unboxing: 'Spring into Beauty' April BDJ Box
The May box arrived a couple of days ago, and it reminded me that I hadn't posted about the April box yet... Oops, my bad. Anyway, here goes!
The April BDJ Box was yet another huge one, guys. If you look back at the previous months' boxes, you'd notice that all the 2015 BDJ boxes so far are jumbo-sized! The May box is too, but let's talk about that in another post!
The April box was all about keeping the skin's radiant glow, so it containing mostly skin care wasn't a surprise.
MyChoice Cucumber Bubble Shower Salt
MyChoice Cucumber Hand and Body Lotion
Asian Secrets Lulur Facial Scrub
Asian Secrets Lulur Body Scrub
MyChoice Cucumber Pure Herbal Soap
MyChoice Anti Acne Cream
Tony Moly Luminous Glow Aura CC Cream
Mustela Hair and Body Wash
Mustela Stretch Marks Double Action
Mustela Hydra Bebe Body Lotion
Tony Moly Intense Care Snail Foot Mask
FS Cosmetics Lash Extravagance Mascara
Revlon Highlighting Palette
First up is MyChoice, which has already been featured in a past BDJ Box.
I've only tried the soap so far, and it's alright. I'm looking forward to try the acne cream as I've just run out of my Belo Acne Pro pimple gel. I still have huge tubes of body scrubs and bottles of lotions lined up for use, so I probably won't be using the shower salt and lotion any time soon.
Next are something I have already tried before and actually like.
The Asian Secrets body scrub is one of my faves. The facial scrub, while not my ultimate fave (that title's still being held by Avon's ClearSkin Pore-Penetrating Scrub!), is still pretty good. It's gentle yet effective. Just a little too gentle for my preference ;)
Next up is a sample set from Mustela.
Saving these because they make good baby shower gifts. Haha.
Last skin care item in here is the Tony Moly foot mask. I honestly was a bit scared to try this at first because I thought it was one of those peeling masks.
But apparently, it's just for moisturizing. Will try this soon. My poor feet need some lovin.' Might just save me a trip to the spa.
Now, for the makeup. There are only a couple in here.
The first one's a mascara from FS Cosmetics. I still have a few mascaras lined up for use, so I'm not sure when I'd be able to try this. But I am a bit excited to because I liked the Double Up Mascara from FS Cosmetics' brand partner, Fashion 21.
Next is a highlighting palette from Revlon. Hmmm not sure how I feel about this yet. With my oily skin and this super hot weather, shimmery and highlighting stuff aren't my bestfriends right now. I am still gonna try this out, though. Just not right now, I guess.
Last but not the least is a tiny sachet of Tony Moly's CC cream. If I didn't love my current and ultimate fave BB cream so much (Colour Collection BB cream), I'd be excited to try this. Haha yeaaah, I'm sometimes biased like that. I guess that's also because I'm not a fan of makeup in sachets, especially tiny ones like this. Nakakabitin, eh.
And that's it for the April box! It's not the most exciting BDJ Box I've seen, but it did contain pretty useful items. And most of the stuff were in full size - that's a plus. By the way, this box is worth more than thrice the 580 Php subscription fee, and I only included the full-sized items in the count! The Revlon highlighter alone (650 Php) makes this box worth the fee already!
Visit bdjbox.com if you want to have your own BDJ Box delivered to your doorstep every month. Will be talking about the May box soon! Hope you stay tuned for it :)
