Haul: Sample Room Orders 11-13
Time for another Sample Room Haul! Here are the 'samples' I ordered from Sample Room for the past couple of months.
Celeteque Multi-Benefit BB Cream
Colour Collection BB Cream
Zenutrients Tea Tree Deo Lotion Spray
NIVEA Invisible Anti-Perspirant Spray
I KNOOOOW! All full-sized! Let me tell you more about these items.
It's my first time trying out Zenutrients. I like this deo lotion - it does help keep my underarms feeling fresh throughout the day, but it's not something I would ditch my current favorite deo spray for, price-wise. The Wink waxing session was really quick and painless, and I am really considering dropping by Wink for another one. Wish they had a branch nearer me, though.
My next batch of samples consisted of three full-sized items from Physiogel, NIVEA and Celeteque.
I talked more about the NIVEA deo spray *here.* The Physiogel cleanser stands up to its claim of being non-drying and gentle (it's the most gentle cleanser I've tried!), but I sometimes feel that it's too mild for me. Yes, I know that foaming isn't really the sole measure of a cleanser's power and effectiveness (I remember my chem professor telling us that in class), but you know... the lather helps make me feel that my face is really being cleaned thoroughly. Man, I should learn not to judge a cleanser by its foaminess. Haha.
The product I was most excited to try from my 12th SR batch was this Celeteque BB cream.
Coverage-, texture- and finish-wise, I like this BB cream for everyday use. The shade is a little off, though. It doesn't totally match my skin's yellow undertone, but it's still pretty wearable. I just have to be careful not to apply too much.
My 13th order consisted of only item - the Colour Collection BB cream.
I didn't expect to like this product as much as I am now. I thought the shade would be too light for my skin tone because of its whitening property, but nooooo. This is one of the best BB creams I've tried so far in terms of matching my skin tone and undertone. The finish is just a little too dewy for my liking, though, but nothing my powder can't handle. I like the coverage and the texture, too. Will post a more detailed review soon! And no, I didn't mind ordering only one item because this BB cream cost six times the P100 handling fee I had to pay!
So those are the items I ordered using my own points. I did receive a few others, though, as a member of the Sample Room Blogger Circle, and I'll be telling you more about this products in separate posts.
|L-R: Pinkish Nude (sheer), Red Wine (satin), Kissmark (matte)|
Sheer, satin and matte Colour Collection lipsticks! More makeup, finally! Can you guess which among these three is my favorite?
White Result Exfoliating Gel, which I like to think of as a dupe of the Cure Aqua Gel from my previous Sample Room haul.
Lastly, the newly reformulated Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion! If you didn't know, Sample Room had a one-day Clinique sampling last week, where sample tubes of the DDML+ were released by batches throughout the day. Were you able to get a sample of this?
Again, I'll be posting about these three items separately, so stay tuned! Wow, my in-tray is piling up. Got a lot of reviews lined up for you!
And that's it for my collective Sample Room haul! Have you tried any of these products? Feel free to share your thoughts by commenting below :)
