If there was a common wish list for women world-wide, of all the things that would have been featured in there, one would definitely be their desire to control their ages and if not essentially control at least be able to look younger than their age. The signs of ageing are basically noticed in the early 30’s which appears in the form of break outs, blotches, skin darkening , loosening and finally the worst nightmare - wrinkles. Though a lot of anti-wrinkle creams from the best of brands are available in the market, sometimes the ingredients do more harm than cure. Hence here we came up with five natural anti-aging skin care recipes for younger-looking skin:
The Honey and Milk Face Mask
The one topping the list is most obviously gonna be the honey and milk face mask, firstly for its easy availability in almost every kitchen and secondly for the simple process involved. Take fresh milk and keep it in the refrigerator till it becomes mildly cold. Thereafter, take 2 tablespoons of honey, mix it with half cup of fresh lemon juice and add proportionate amount of milk to the mixture, beating the contents at the same time to get the gooey consistency and texture. Once completed, apply this mixture on the face, keep it on for 20 minutes and finally rinse it off. The anti-oxidants of the citrus lemon and the anti-wrinkle properties of the milk are guaranteed to reduce those signs of aging by 5% with every usage.
The Egg and Almond Face Mask
The second on the list would be the Egg and the Almond Face Mask. Combining the goodness of Vitamin E and Vitamins B6 and B12, this mask works wonder in removing skin irritations and signs of early aging. Take a raw egg and crack it carefully to separate the yolk from the white. Beat the egg yolk then smoothly add three table spoon of oats and two tea spoon of almond oil. Apply the paste on face, leaving it on for 20 minutes and finally wash off with plain water to get that radiant skin.
Yoghurt and Cucumber Face Pack
Both Yoghurt and Cucumber are best known for their cooling effects on the skin. Cucumber work wonders for treating skin darkening specially in the under eye areas and yoghurt, thanks to its acidic content, acts as a natural bleach. Slice pieces of a cucumber and grind it to extract the juice. Make a paste adding two tablespoons of yoghurt and one table spoon of honey. Finally add the extracted juice to the paste and beat it to form a thick paste. Apply it evenly on the skin, leaving it on for 15 mins and wash off with mild cold water.
Banana and Papaya Face Mask
Both the skin benefits of banana and papaya are known almost to all women, and approximately 85% of facial products includes either or both of them in their contents. The fruits, thanks to their papain and vitamin contents, act as amazing skin lightening and tightening agents. Smash 4-5 banana slices with 7-8 dices of papaya cubes, grind both of them to form a thick and consistent paste. Keep this paste on for 25 mins after application on the face and neck area and finally rinse off using plain water.
Strawberry and Cocoa Face Pack
Do not let that ugly marks on strawberries or the health hazards of caffeine get you into thinking that they cannot work for your skin. Take 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and mix it with 3 teaspoons of honey to form a thick brown paste. Mash 3 strawberries and add them to the mixture. For a better consistency, grind or beat all the ingredients together. Apply the muddy pack on the face and rinse it off after 20 minutes.
Lastly, remember that the face packs suggested although natural can only act from the external aspects. Your skin is nothing but a mirror image of your diet, so eat healthy and sleep well to hold back time and stay beautiful agelessly.
