Happy new year, everyone! I hope you enjoyed your holiday celebrations! Just sharing my first makeup haul for 2013 today. I also bought some clothes but I'll show you those maybe another time :)

Nail stamping kit (Divi) - P100+
G-lish Colour Pot in Desert Storm - gift from Kai
Fashion 21 Double Up Mascara - gift from Eyah
Maybelline Magnum Volum' Express Waterproof Mascara - P279 (original price: P399)
Aqua Massage Facial Cleansing Sponge - P52.75
First I'll show you what I got when my fellow bloggers (Jen, Kai and Eyah) and I went out after Christmas. Food, chika and shopping!
Got the G-lish eyeshadow pot from Kai when we had our little gift-exchange. I'm so mad at myself for accidentally dropping it when I got home :( After dinner, we visited the Department Store to look around for some stuff. I took advantage of Maybelline's year-end Crazy Sale where items had up to 30% discounts! I'm currently using The Falsies, and it's about to dry up. So I bought a new mascara. Decided to get Magnum this time. Then Eyah showed us her favorite Fashion 21 mascara. Jen tried it out, and I loved the effect on her lashes! Eyah got me a tube. Yeeeeey! Thanks so much, girls! See you again soon :D
When Eyah and I looked around SM Department Store's beauty section a few weeks earlier, we saw lots of interesting new things like Pinkies Collections' eyeshadows and since then been wanting to get some, especially since there's a free mini palette for every four eyeshadows. Unfortunately, the palette was OOS that time. I went and checked after a week - still nothing. Maybe Pinkies is still in the process of relabeling the palettes (from Pinkie Swear to Pinkies Collections) or something. Anyway, I dropped by again yesterday. Still nothing. But I couldn't wait anymore, especially after seeing Nikki of Askmewhat's post about these affordable customizable palettes! I'll just buy one of those and place the single eyeshadows inside :)
Got six shades, mostly a bit shimmery. The matte ones didn't really catch my attention. By the way, these single eyeshadows came with their own pots.
Here they are up close.
|1st row: Deep Brown, Bronze (which reminded me of UD's Half Baked when I first saw it, just a li'l bit more bronzey)|
2nd row: Gray, Charcoal
3rd row: Lilac, Royal Blue (both so gorgeous!!!)
Saw these facial cleansing sponges at the SM Dep't Store beauty section too.
"Pure cellulose facial cleansing sponge. For delicate and complete removal of make-up. Rinse thoroughly before and after use." First time to use sponges for the face. I hope they work :)
Last items are for the nails. When my mom, my sister and I went to Divi a couple of weeks ago, I picked up a new stamping nail art kit. I got a larger stamper, a scraper and another plate. I chose this plate because it had patterns that I'd actually use. I realized I would be able to use patterns more often than I would use small icons like those in the first plates I got.
I tried them out last night and couldn't get them to work. Then I realized I hadn't removed the blue plastic film covering the plate yet. HAHA. So guys, don't forget to remove the blue plastic film first before using your stamping plates, ok? Now everything's working fine :) Click *here* for my old stamping nail art tutorial (which can update now that I have a new plate :))
So that's it for my first makeup haul for the year! Excited to try the eyeshadows and mascaras and sponges! Have you tried any of these products? Let me know your thoughts on them :)

My sister and I spent the first minutes of 2013 making sparkler letters. So fun, so cool :D
