Unboxing: 'Parisian Pretty' October BDJ Box

Hello, hello, hello :D

I'm finally showing you what's inside my October BDJ Box!

BDJ Box is a monthly beauty box subscription service from the same company behind the Belle de Jour planners. A BDJ box contains 5+ deluxe-sized samples, and you can get it for P480 per month. It's the least expensive among the three beauty boxes I know so far. Read my post *here* for more information on the BDJ Box and its launching event last week.

Let me unbox my beauty with BDJ Box with you :)

Here's what the box looks like.

I like the color theme and the green gift box icon printed on the cover :D

Let's open it!

There's a card that contains information on this month's theme, Parisian Pretty...
October 2012: Parisian Pretty
...and the list of the products inside the box.
There's a total of nine products in the October box. I'm familiar with most of the brands here but I haven't tried any of these products before. I'm actually quite impressed with the list of their partner brands

The box is heavier than expected, too. That's a good thing, if you think about it.

And here are all the products inside!

I'm surprised to see that four/five out of the eight products are full-sized, and the samples are good for several uses already! Deluxe-sized, indeed :)

Calvin Klein Eternity Aqua (1.2 ml)
Nice subtle, 'sophisticated' scent!
L'Oreal Paris Total Repair 5 - Daily Repairing Treatment (50 ml)
I love the L'Oreal Smooth Intense Anti-Frizz serum and conditioner.
I hope this one is as good or even better than those two.
(Mall price: P240, 240 ml)
Garnier Skin Naturals Pure Active Multi-Action Scrub (50 ml)
Excited to use my first Garnier product! Hihi.
(Mall price: P85, 50 ml)
L: L'Oreal Lucent Magique Skin Illuminating BB Cream (5 ml)
R: L'Oreal Revitalift Intensive Night Repair Essence (5 ml)
A lot of people have been raving about this BB cream since the BDJ Boxes were released.
I'll use it next time I go out. The Revitalift cream, I'll probably give to my mom.
(Mall price: BB Cream - P695, 30 ml; Serum - P995, 30 ml)
L: Syoss Anti-Dandruff Control Shampoo (100 ml)
R: Syoss Anti-Dandruff Control Conditioner (100 ml)

These smell nice! Their scent was the first thing I noticed upon opening the box.
(Mall price: P90, 190 ml)
Yves Rocher Hydra Vegetal Hydrating Toner (50 ml)
Ah, I'm surprised to see this here! This is from one of Yves Rocher's latest  skin care lines, I believe.
I consider this 'full-sized' already because I usually buy my toners in this size,
but this is really just a sample.
(Mall price: P490, 200 ml)
Garnier Skin Naturals Light Whiten & Even Moisturizing Cream (8 ml X 8 packs)
I hope every month comes with an extra dose of beauty!
It's nice that there are not only one but 8 packs of this :)
(Mall price: P79.75, 20 ml)

And those are all the products inside the October 2012 BDJ Box.

Some L'Oreal pamphlets

I'm quite happy with the contents. I can see myself using almost all the products. And I'm happy with the size they come in. The samples are probably gonna last me a few weeks (I go through products really slowly!). The full-sized ones, well, even longer.

Oh, by the way, have you seen these 'I'm beautiful like me' stickers yet? I got mine during the launch but these were also distributed in the October boxes ordered through the BDJ Box website. You can stick them wherever you want but there's a fun challenge/activity that BDJ is encouraging us to try using these stickers.

The instructions are written in the card. Have fun with them! I've already used two of the five :)

  18. Hi, Aya! I noticed that you got a 50ml Yves Rocher toner, while another blogger (Barbra of mylittlebeautystash) got a 50ml Yves Rocher cleansing milk. I, however, got a 15ml Blemish Lotion. Do you know why there was a difference? I paid for a monthly subscription (for now). Thanks. Great post, by the way. :)

  19. Hi dear. Yeah, I noticed some received different items. BDJ Box personalizes the items based on the answers of the subscribers to the quiz. Did you take the quiz when you subscribed? :) I saw your unboxing post, by the way :)
