Hi everyone! If you read my post *here,* you would know that one of my fave nail polish brands is Etude House. Also, I think I've already mentioned before that I'm currently searching for the perfect nude shade for my nails. I've already tried a few like LA Colors' French Cream, Caronia's Touch of Tan, Touch of Beige and Joy, BR308 from Etude House's Petit Darling Nails HD Beam line and a couple from Bobbie. They're not bad but they're not my ideal nude shade. I want something na 'pag ginamit ko, parang wala akong nails (haha) - define super nude talaga. But of course it needs to match my skin tone, too - that's a given. I figured that the best nude shade for me would probably be something that has a hint of peach or pink ('di ba mas natural tingnan at mas magbblend sa skin tone kapag medyo peach or pink?). So when I saw this shade from one of Etude House's newest nail polish ranges, I bought it. And here's how it looks on my nails.
At first I thought it would be too peachy but after seeing what it looked like on my nails, I didn't care anymore. Right then and there, it became a fave.
Nails of the day with Etude House Look At My Shine Nails in SBE102.
A peachy nude shade. It's still not the nudest of the nude for me but I think the hint of peach makes it look more natural on the nails than just plain brown ones. It's neutral but definitely not boring! Neutral/nude colors look so elegant on the nails, right? I know I say that a lot but that's just because I believe in it.
And it looks so good in certain kinds of lighting. Case in point: (just excuse my dry cuticles ;P)
As for the formula and finish, I have no major complaints. I love how glossy it is even without top coat. I love the bottle itself, too! <3
So there you go. This is my current favorite neutral nail polish. I'm still gonna check out the other shades from the Look At My Shine Nails range. They're said to be 'long-lasting and glossy nail polishes with natural colors.' I might find something there that's even better than this one.
