Haul: Enlighten Me, Please

Hey! Have you checked the first of HBC's 8-week giveaway? If not, just click the banner above! We want you to be happy this Christmas! :D

So these are the last of the items I got last October. They're not much, they're mostly necessities, anyway.

Items:
Vita Comb with Olive Oil - P49.95
Sponges - P14.75 each
Spatulas - P5.95
San San Matte Finish Liquid Foundation - P132.00
San San nail polish in Precious Platinum - P37.00
Allue nail polishes in Aqua Chic and Simply Natural - P25.00 each

This comb caught my attention while I was looking around Landmark Trinoma. I mean, a comb with olive oil and wheat germ? I was looking for a wide-toothed comb, anyway, so I bought this.

It says here that olive oil helps moisturize the hair cuticles while wheat germ is a source of nutrients that help protect the hair from UV rays and stuff.

Interesting... but how does this work? How can a comb contain olive oil and wheat germ? Is it coated with those ingredients? What happens if I wash this? Someone enlighten me, please :) Anyway, they also have brushes and other combs available so you might wanna check those out, too.

Then I bought a new foundation because I've just run out of my go-to BB cream. I got this one after reading a really good review about it :)

I've only used this a couple of times, though, so I still can't say much about it.

And here are some unnecessary purchases... nail polishes.

I don't even want to talk about these "unnecessary" purchases. Haha. I'm supposed to be on a no-unnecessary-purchases phase because I have to save up for a lot of things but... eerrrm. Ugh, I can't even find a good excuse. O_O Anyway, the two Allue polishes are both water-based. I didn't realize that they were until I tried one on and couldn't remove it using my regular nail polish remover.

So that's it for my mini haul. I have a no-makeup haul coming up for you soon. Hope you got something out of that! I feel really sad today (like really really sad) and I don't even know why. I hope I feel better soon :'(

Don't forget to join HBC's 8 Ways to a Happy and Beautiful Christmas giveaway, ok? That will cheer me up for sure! :)

  3. I try to avoid Allue polishes esp the water based ones cause they dont last that long :( the foundation i like when i want a foundation that is a shade lighter than mine, since what i got was a shade lighter. :) it has such a vanilla scent, right??

  10. Thanks, Jackie! So far, I haven't noticed any significant changes in my hair. Haha but I didn't expect to see some in the first place. I just thought the idea was cool. LOL. But for a wide-toothed comb, it's ok, I guess :D
